Introducing the Support at Home program on the Gold Coast

Upcoming Changes to Home Care Services from 1 July 2025

The Australian Government is introducing the Support at Home initiative, set to replace the existing Home Care Packages (HCP) and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) program from 1 July 2025. This new framework is designed to simplify funding, enhance assessments, and improve access to home care services for the elderly, including at-home nursing, aged care services at home, and vital home modifications.

The Support at Home program aims to empower older Australians by enabling them to remain independent with high-quality, personalised care support at home.
