Services Available
Support with activities of daily living
Our Care Workers provide one-on-one support so that individuals with special needs can live their lives with as few limitations as possible. Providing personalised help means people enjoy greater independence and greater peace of mind for families.
Companionship and recreation
Our approach to care is uniquely focused on improving day-to-day happiness and quality of life. Going to the park, community activities, classes or even just taking a walk together helps Care Workers bond and ensure that the days spent with our workers are engaged and fulfilling.
Transportation and Errands
Care Worker can drive people to conduct errands, attend appointments or participate in recreational
or social events.
Light housework
Care Workers perform light housework including tidying up, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens,
dusting and more.
Meal Preparation and Nutrition
Eating a healthy diet is important for those with Parkinson’s disease. A clean and nutrient dense diet is critical because it helps strengthen muscles and bones while reducing muscle atrophy and excess fat accumulation. Home Care Assistance can help prepare healthy meals that will provide your loved one the nutrition he or she needs to maintain optimal health and vitality.
Companionship and Activities
One of the most valuable experiences that comes out of our program is the lifelong friendships and support that is developed between individuals and Carers. Having someone around to engage with socially is an essential part of good mental health and we take pride in the relationships that we create.
Bathing and hygiene
Our Care Workers ensure that personal care needs are met, and support bathing, grooming and
other hygiene needs so people are comfortable, clean and healthy.
Medication Reminders and Assistance
Care Workers provide essential reminders and monitoring to make sure the right medications are
taken at the right time.
